Rick Sheppard is from the the Atlantic Recording Drifters of the 60's. There were two different groups of Drifters that recorded on the Atlantic Recording Label. They were the Drifters of The 50's, known as Clyde McFatter and the Original Drifters from 1953-55, and you had the most famous group of Drifters of the 60's with the most famous hit songs: including On Broadway, Under the Boardwalk, etc. This is what the public dubbed as the Ben E. King era. Rick Sheppard was a member of that group of The Drifters. Rick Sheppard recorded on the Atlantic Label with Charlie Thomas, the late Johnny Moore, and the late Bill Fredricks.
